As your County Commissioners, we are committed to keeping you informed about important issues affecting our community. One of our top priorities is ensuring the safety, security, and efficiency of our county jail. Following a recent inspection, we have identified a targeted list of necessary repairs. While inmates are temporarily housed in neighboring counties at a daily cost, we are working diligently to complete repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible. To expedite the process while maintaining a competitive bid system, we are seeking licensed plumbers and electricians to submit bids for work by the hour. This approach allows us to move forward promptly while ensuring quality repairs.
