INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS
HVAC SERVICES – RAY COUNTY JAIL
Ray County, Missouri is accepting sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and insured HVAC contractors to evaluate, recommend, and repair and/or replace four (4) existing heating and cooling systems serving the detention area (located in the attic space) at the Ray County Jail in Henrietta, Missouri.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Bidders shall provide a detailed evaluation of existing systems, recommended scope of work, equipment specifications if replacement is proposed, itemized pricing, warranty information, and an estimated timeline for commencement and completion.
SITE INSPECTION:
A site visit must be scheduled through the Ray County Sheriff’s Office.
SUBMISSION OF BIDS:
Sealed bids must be delivered to the Ray County Clerk’s Office, 100 West Main Street, Richmond, Missouri 64085, no later than Noon, Monday, May 11, 2026. Bids must be clearly marked: “Sealed Bid – HVAC Services, Ray County Jail – Bid Opening
05/14/2026”.
BID OPENING:
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Ray County Commission on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 9:30 A.M.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS:
Contractors must be properly licensed in the State of Missouri, carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
AWARD:
The County reserves the right to award to the lowest and best bidder or to the responsive and responsible offeror whose proposal provides the best value to the County. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to negotiate in the best interest of the County.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
JANITORIAL SERVICES
Ray County, Missouri is accepting sealed proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured janitorial service providers to furnish routine custodial and cleaning services for the county facilities: The initial contract term shall be for two (2) years. After the initial 2 year period, the contract may automatically renew annually under the same terms and conditions unless either party provides written notice of termination at least sixty (60) days prior to the anniversary date of the agreement.
Sealed bids must be delivered to the office of the Ray County Clerk, 100 West Main St. Richmond, MO. 64085, no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 19 th , 2026. Bids will be opened at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, 05-20-2026, at the meeting of the Ray County Commission. Bid envelopes should be clearly marked “Janitorial Services Bid for 05-20-2026”.
Ray County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
