One of our top priorities is ensuring the safety, security, and efficiency of our county jail. Following a recent inspection, we have identified a targeted list of necessary repairs. While inmates are temporarily housed in neighboring counties at a daily cost, we are working diligently to complete repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible. To expedite the process while maintaining a competitive bid system, we are seeking licensed plumbers and electricians to submit bids for work by the hour. This approach allows us to move forward promptly while ensuring quality repairs. SPECS FOR MOWER AT OUR 5 LOCATIONS
Ray County is accepting bids for mowing at 5 locations. Eagleton Center, Public Admin, Ray County Jail, Courthouse and Museum. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: Mowing and weed eating of grounds. Pick up tree limbs, sticks, leaves and trash and remove from grounds, and Trim bushes and remove from ground. Contract will run from April 20th, 2025 to October 15th, 2028. A 30-day notice must be given by either party to cancel this contract. Must be licensed and insured. Ray County may accept or reject any or all bids. Bids are due on April 17th at 9:00 a.m. in the County Clerk’s office. Bids will be opened at 9:30 a.m.
